The magnificent Chess Square holds and lives on again the story of the beautiful doughter of the Lord of Marostica and of the two noblemen Rinaldo d'Angarano and Vieri da Vallonara, that challenge the hand of Lionora.
The opening show is on Friday 9th September at 21:00, followed by the one on Saturday 10th at 21:00, and finally, on Sunday 11th at 17:00 and 21:00. Each show is attended by 3600 spectators, sat on comfortable numbered seats.

According to the acient tradition the event takes place every SECOND WEEKEND OF SEPTEMBER OF THE EVEN YEARS
Every two years the show is performed on the big marble chessboard of Piazza Castello. The square holds 3500 numbered seats.
