Associazione Pro Marostica reserves the right to modify the Website and/or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time, without prior notice.
2. TICKETS. Possession of the access ticket and compliance with these general conditions of sale are fundamental conditions for entry and stay within the Event venue.
Tickets are not duplicable. In the event of loss or theft of the ticket, access to the Show is guaranteed only by submitting a copy of the complaint addressed to the competent authorities or self-certification containing the exact data of the lost ticket to the Ticket Office Management.
In the event of non-use due to personal impediments, the ticket will not be convertible to another date, nor will it be refundable or exchangeable in any way. Resale of tickets by persons not authorized by the Pro Marostica Association is prohibited. -b) via telematic tools and registration on the official website www.marosticascacchi.it
The contract is conditionally terminated in the event of failure to pay the full amount.
3.1 Conclusion of the contract via telematic tools. For the sale referred to in point (b), a prior registration procedure is available on the Pro Marostica Association's website. The forwarding of the request by the Buyer will therefore imply the obligation to pay the Entrance Ticket. As soon as payment is received, the seller will take charge of the purchase order.
The place of conclusion of the contract is that of the registered office of the Pro Marostica Association.
The Entry Ticket is automatically generated by the online procedure and is delivered to the email inbox indicated by the buyer during the purchase procedure, where it is made available for printing. If necessary, assistance can be obtained by contacting the telephone number +39 0424 72127 or by emailing biglietti@marosticascacchi.it.
4. AVAILABILITY OF TICKETS. The Seller ensures, through its telematic system, the timely processing and fulfilment of orders. For this purpose, it indicates in real-time, in its electronic catalogue – which can also be consulted at the Ticket Office through the Association Staff – the possibility of purchasing entrance tickets. The entrance tickets available are those indicated on the Site at the time of consultation. The place can be chosen by the Buyer exclusively from those free and available at the time of purchase.
The purchase of the Securities can therefore be completed only if they are still available at the time the request reaches the server.
5. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY. It is up to the Buyer to check the conditions of the Entry Ticket that has been delivered to him. It is therefore recommended that the verification be conducted to ensure that the Entrance Tickets received refer to the Event purchased, as well as the correctness of the date, category, type of seats, and number of Entry Tickets received. In the event of a discrepancy between the entrance tickets received and those purchased, the Buyer must contact the Seller at the following numbers: – email address: biglietti@marosticascacchi.it – telephone number: +39 0424 72127.
6. PRICES. The price of Entrance Tickets is that expressly indicated on the Website and published in the Association Ticket Office at the time of purchase.
The sales price is expressed in euros, inclusive of VAT and any pre-sales rights set and applied by the Seller. Any other additional expenses, if any, are to be borne by the Buyer.
6.1 Reductions. For the event “The Marostica Chess Game with living characters,” the following price reductions are expected:
a) for minors from zero to 2 years of age (i.e., up to 1 year and 364 days) the entrance ticket is free – in this case, there is no right to a numbered place.
b) for minors aged 2 and over (meaning “completed” even on their birthday if coinciding with the day of the show) up to 12 years of age (i.e., up to 11 years and 364 days), it is possible to purchase the entrance ticket at a reduced price.
The Organization reserves the right to request the presentation of the minor's identity card when accessing the entertainment area and for the entire duration of the event. If it appears that the Entrance Ticket has been purchased in contravention of the rules indicated above, the Organization reserves the right to request the integration of the Ticket price.
7. PAYMENT METHODS
1) For tickets purchased at the Ticket Office, payment may be made in cash (within the limits of applicable regulations) and/or by credit/debit card.
The Organization reserves the right to consider other forms of payment. Bank checks, money orders, and vouchers (e.g., “culture bonus” or “teacher bonus”) will not be accepted.
2) Any payment for the entrance tickets purchased by the online Buyer can only be made using the payment methods indicated as possible on the Site at the time of purchase.
In the event of a refund of the ticket - in the cases and manner indicated below - the refund amount will be made by bank transfer and/or other traceable solution, as defined at the sole discretion of the Organization. To this end, the refund applicant must provide all the necessary data requested by filling out a specific form, which will be published on the Association's website, www.marosticascacchi.it, or, alternatively, at the Ticket Office, where a dedicated IT station will be set up. In the event that you fail to provide all the requested data, you will forfeit your right to a refund.
8. DISABLED SPECTATORS. All companions of spectators with disabilities, who access a numbered seat in the grandstand assigned ex officio, are required to pay the ticket at the full price provided, while walking spectators, with disability certification of 67% or higher, who access a numbered seat in the grandstand, are entitled to a discounted price, indicated when booking by the Ticket Office Management, while seats last. For individuals with NON-ambulatory disabilities and a disability certification of 67% or higher, a reserved area with limited places (assigned in chronological order of request, while places last) at the square/stall level is available at a discounted price, communicated directly during booking by the Ticketing Management.
These places can be booked exclusively at the secretariat, and only one place is reserved for the companion, who will be seated close to the person entitled, with the ticket price equal to the price reserved for the person with disabilities. Requests exceeding 2 tickets (including the companion) will be automatically rejected. For information regarding the purchase and collection of the aforementioned reduced tickets, please contact the Ticket Office Management exclusively.
There are no architectural barriers that prevent access to the reserved area by spectators with motor disabilities who need a wheelchair. Within this area, there are designated places, marked on the floor with appropriate identification signs.
It should be noted that the reserved area is on the square floor and does not guarantee the same visibility as the show, which can be used from a numbered grandstand. For any need for assistance, access, accompaniment, and indication of reserved spaces, and for information on services for the public, interested parties can contact the staff assigned to the Lounge Service or the appropriately signposted entrance reserved for people with disabilities (access on the south-west side of the square).
9. ADMISSION AND PARTICIPATION IN THE EVENT. To access the Event venue, all individuals must have a valid Entry Ticket. The Entry Ticket constitutes an access ticket exclusively for the Event for which it was issued, on the day and time indicated, or alternatively, in the event of rescheduling of the show, on the alternative date, identified pursuant to these Regulations. It is mandatory to occupy only the assigned seat and to maintain correct and respectful behaviour of other spectators during the performance of the show. The Spectator without a valid entry ticket will be escorted outside the event venue without any right of refund. A spectator who does not maintain appropriate behaviour and/or who causes disturbance to the performance of the show and/or to other spectators will be escorted out of the event venue without any right of reimbursement. Access to the Event venues after the show has started is prohibited. Spectators who arrive late or leave their seats during the performance will be invited to wait at the access gate or in the designated area, as indicated by the Organization, until the first interval to fill the assigned seats.
10. SECURITY CHECKS AND LIMITATIONS / RULES OF CONDUCT. For security reasons, the staff in charge will be able to conduct summary visual checks at the entrances (Article 5, Letter C of the Ministerial Decree of 06/10/2009). Staff are also authorized to request inspections and deny entry with prohibited objects within the Event venue or those that are otherwise dangerous to the safety of the public and the Entertainment. Within the venue of the Event, it is forbidden to introduce, by way of example and in any case not exhaustively:
1. umbrellas of any kind, including folding ones, suitcases, trolleys, bags, backpacks, bags or other bulky containers (ind. greater than 17 litres).
2. weapons, explosive material, pyrotechnic devices, smoke bombs, flares, stones, knives or other sharp or cutting objects.
3. pushchairs, baby prams, bicycles, skateboards, skates, and hoverboards.
4. drones and remote-controlled airplanes.
5. video cameras, professional and semi-professional cameras, tripods, musical instruments.
6. narcotic substances, poisons, harmful substances, and flammable material.
7. plastic bottles larger than 0.5 L; plastic bottles smaller than 0.5 L, without caps, will be accepted.
8. water bottles of any kind, size, and material, any other glass or plastic container or object, and any other blunt object that may cause damage to oneself or others (e.g., motorcycle helmets).
9. food or beverages.
10. animals of any size and breed, except registered guide dogs (subject to express authorization by the Organization).
There is no custodial service whatsoever.
Within the Event venue, it is also prohibited to:
1. smoking throughout the Square, including using e-cigarettes.
2. damage or tamper with structures, infrastructure, and services in any way.
3. climbing on balustrades, parapets, dividers, and other structures not intended for the public's stay.
4. obstruct access and exit routes or any other escape routes, including ordinary evacuation routes.
5. photograph the show with or without flash and carry out any type of audio/video recording for commercial purposes and without authorization.
6. use selfie sticks.
7. use wearable electronic devices such as ‘GoPro’, tablets, or others capable of recording and transmitting, digitally or on any other medium, audio, video, and audio-video material, collecting information or data relating to the show.
8. use laser pointers.
9. display signs, banners, flags, documents, drawings, printed materials, and posters containing propaganda for political, ideological, or religious doctrines, or statements or concepts inciting racial, ethnic, or religious hatred, or otherwise obstructing the regular progress of the Show or the visibility of other spectators.
10. leave objects or materials, leaving them unattended and likely to prevent exodus routes or cause alarms.
11. engage in aggressive behaviour towards security staff.
13. produce noises that disturb the audience, performers, and/or animals used in the show.
11. CANCELLATION / SUSPENSION / POSTPONEMENT OF THE EVENT IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER and/or WITHDRAWAL OF PUBLIC AUTHORIZATIONS BEFORE THE SHOW / FORCE MAJEURE (allowing recovery/rescheduling). Since the Show is held outdoors, the risk of bad weather cannot be excluded and must therefore be accepted by the Spectator. In case of bad weather and/or weather alerts issued by higher authorities/public authorities/competent public bodies that revoke the Public Entertainment authorization and/or other force majeure events and/or withdrawal of public authorizations, the Event may be cancelled at the Organizer’s sole discretion.
The start of the Event coincides with the playback of the prequel. As a rule, the event is never cancelled before the scheduled start time of the Show, except in cases of force majeure. In the event of adverse weather conditions and/or weather forecasts that would make it impossible to stage the Show safely, the Organization may decide to cancel or postpone the event before its scheduled start time. From the moment of cancellation communication of the event before its start, it is not necessary to endorse the ticket, and it is not necessary to show up at the access gates. In the event of cancellation after the prequel has started (and in any case before the 30-minute mark of the show), the unendorsed ticket will not be replaceable/refundable according to the rules of this regulation. Possession of the title (in its original form, either the paper copy collected at the ticket office or the PDF file transmitted via email for those purchased online) is a necessary element for the replacement/refund request, as reported below. If the weather conditions and/or weather forecasts reasonably foresee the possibility of staging the Show but do not allow it to begin promptly, the Organizer may, at its sole discretion, postpone the performance by up to 90 minutes or bring forward the performance by up to 60 minutes before declaring its cancellation. Spectators are therefore invited to arrive at the event location at least 60 minutes prior to the start of the event. In the event that the Show has started and performed for more than 30 minutes, the Show is considered a stage production, and the Spectator will not be entitled to a refund.
In the event of cancellation before the start of the Event or when it has been completed for less than 30 minutes from the start of the prequel, the Organization, at its sole discretion, may decide not to reschedule it and proceed with the refund of the tickets or, alternatively, to reschedule the same with the methods and calendar indicated in point no. 12. Communications regarding the postponement, cancellation or suspension of the Event, as well as the Organizer's decisions regarding the reimbursement or replacement of Entrance Tickets, will be made public via the www.marosticascacchi.it website, as well as by verbal communication via any speakers present on site or other means of communication deemed suitable by the Organization.
12. TICKET REPLACEMENT FOR RESCHEDULED EVENT. If the Event is cancelled before it starts or within the first thirty minutes, the Organization, at its sole discretion, may decide not to reschedule and refund tickets, or alternatively, reschedule according to the following calendar:
- The shows on Friday and Saturday may be rescheduled and recovered, in chronological order, on Sunday of the same week, as a priority, or on the following Monday, with a time to be defined, starting from 5.00 pm.
If the weather conditions also prevent rescheduling as mentioned above, the event will be cancelled, and the ticket will be refunded, as indicated in Article 13.
In case of rescheduling, no refund will be due; instead, tickets will be replaced with tickets of the same category for the rescheduled performance, which the Purchaser accepts as an alternative to the original date and time chosen at purchase. The ticket already in the Purchaser’s possession will therefore be valid for the rescheduled Event. All related information and organizational notes will be published on the Organization’s website.
13. REFUND OF TICKETS FOR CANCELED EVENT. Event cancelled before the start of the show and/or before the 30-minute run from start and not rescheduled. The buyer is entitled to a refund of their Entry Ticket only if the Event is cancelled before its start and/or before the execution of 30 minutes from the scheduled start and is not rescheduled in the manner indicated above. 12. In the event that the Organization decides not to organize the aforementioned recovery dates, the Buyer will be entitled to obtain a refund of the nominal price of the ticket, net of taxes and duties that have burdened the Entrance Ticket. The refund request must be made within 60 days from the date of the cancelled event by completing the appropriate online form published on the event website, delivering and/or attaching the Entry ticket, the buyer's identity document, and payment data. To this end, a dedicated information point with a computer station will be established at the Organization's headquarters. After ascertaining the right to obtain a refund, it will be provided by bank transfer to the details indicated by the Buyer in the appropriate form, or by another traceable solution defined at the sole discretion of the Organization, according to the technical timescales necessary for this procedure. Payment will always be made through traceable procedures to ensure tax obligations are fulfilled.
Event cancelled after the Show began. If the Event is cancelled after the start (within 30 minutes after the start), any right to reimbursement of Entrance Tickets will cease. In this case, the show is considered staged.
13 bis. POSTPONEMENT OF THE EDITION DUE TO HEALTH EMERGENCY (COVID-19 / epidemic / pandemic / force majeure preventing rescheduling, except as per section 11). In the event of impossibility to hold the show due to COVID-19 or other form of epidemic /pandemic / cause of force majeure that does not allow the rescheduling of the event within the terms indicated above in art. 11. The tickets purchased for the edition remain valid and are automatically converted into Entrance Tickets to be used in the next edition for the same performance and in the same seat already assigned. Alternatively, the Spectator who has purchased an Entry Ticket has the right to submit a request for reimbursement according to the legal methods and/or referred to in art. 183, paragraph 11, letter (b), Legislative Decree no. 34/2020 as converted by Law no. 77/2020 and any subsequent amendments and/or subsequent legislative provisions. In this case, the Buyer will be able to take advantage of a voucher of the same value as the Ticket, to be used for other services /shows offered by the Organization. It will be the responsibility of the Organization to publish more operational details on the website and/or at the Ticket Office.
