Due to the exceptional heatwave currently affecting our region, the Castle will be closed to the public from Saturday, 27 June, until further notice, pending an improvement in weather conditions.
This decision has been taken as a precautionary measure to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of both our visitors and our staff in light of the extreme temperatures.
The Castle will reopen as soon as conditions allow for a safe and comfortable visitor experience. An announcement will be made promptly through our official communication channels.
During this period, the ticket office for the Chess Game event will be located at the Civic Library (Via Cairoli, 4 – ground floor), where a tourist information service will also be available.
